Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile

Very nice rooms, 15th floor room facing the mountain had a really great view. Gym was quite new and had a decent amount of equipment, mostly cardio with basic weights, a smith machine, 2 benches and a cable machine. There were lockers with keypad locks, a sauna and a yoga/stretching rooms with mats and exercise balls. Located near a Starbucks and a great health food store down the road with all kinds of healthy protein packed options. If the hotel gym is not good enough it’s located close enough to larger gyms. Overall enjoyed my stay here, the hotel even allowed me to add a microwave a mini fridge for my meal prep. The fridge they gave me was a good medium size fridge that was enough for 4 days of food, not a tiny hotel drink fridge. 10 min walk to Rue Peel Stairs, the closest entrance to hike the mountain. Highly recommend visiting the mountain.

I love this hotel. Have stayed here probably 5 or 6 times over the years including once during renovations. The experience and service have always been exceptional. The redesign is beautiful. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed and the housekeeping is excellent.

My family stayed for a night here. We enjoyed well. But during sleeping, I felt a little cold dispite I setted up the heating over 24 degree. In the morning, I found the reason. The curtain is too long, so it hid the heater. The warm air was staying between the window and the curtain. When I opened the curtain, I could feel the warm air. Except this, all the things were good especially breakfast.

breakfast came with the room and was perfect - just enough to fill you up. but what really made our trip was the valet guys. we felt so taken care of everytime. michael, i think that was his name?, was above and beyond with making us feel welcome. thank you for the great hospitality. without his kindness, our trip would have been not at splendid.

Our stay at the Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile was elevated to another level thanks to the incredible service from Liam and Marcus. We had the pleasure of seeing them throughout our stay as both our breakfast servers and bartenders, and their professionalism and warmth are unmatched. The breakfast here is truly amazing - the croissants are unbelievable and easily some of the best we’ve ever had. Whether we were starting our day with a perfect pastry or ending it with an expertly crafted drink at the bar, Liam and Marcus made us feel like VIPs. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality are a credit to the Sofitel team. We can’t wait to return!

I absolutely loved staying here. I felt safe. Very well attended to. The staff met every need I asked them for. They even scheduled me a dentist appointment and ensured I would make it on time. The team at the Sofitel Montreal golden mile deserves the best and nothing but the best of guest. Their restaurant is absolutely delicious and if you didn’t feel like eating at the restaurant, the room service was amazing as well….. mind you room service is 24/7. It was near downtown walking distance to a lot of shopping and good eateries. You cannot go wrong staying here especially Mount Royal being RIGHT BEHIND. I cannot thank the Sofitel enough for their service and accommodations they provided. I would most definitely recommend staying here to anyone and of course stay here again myself.

While we very much enjoyed our room and our experience at the Sofitel Golden Mile, we were less than pleased at all of the hidden fees we were charged at check out. Otherwise, we definitely would’ve stayed here again. Check-in with Frédérique was quick and easy. The valet parking is private for hotel guests and restaurant visitors with a clearance of 1.83m. Turn down service was twice a day, am and pm. All of the staff were friendly and the hotel itself was clean and comfortable.
